VIAGGIA - Discover Sicily is a high-end travel experience that specializes in tours of the island of Sicily. Echoing in the steps of Italy’s Grand Tour journeys, Chef Alessandro and team will help you discover the unique legacy of the culinary and classical arts of Sicily, created by the influence of various cultures which occupied the island.

VIAGGIA - Discover Sicily was founded by Chef Alessandro, a native Sicilian from Palermo with a passion for sharing the beauty and culture of his homeland . Together with his wife and business partner Polina they have over 30 years of combined experience working in the hospitality industry.

After 8 years of working in some of the world's finest restaurants in London, UK, Chef Alessandro relocated to Vancouver, Canada in 2012 and successfully operated locals' favourite Italian restaurant, Mangia Cucina & Bar. The idea of completing the  full circle and creating a culinary journey around Sicily was born from the numerous requests received from regular patrons. In 2023 the team relocated to Italy to focus full-time on creating authentic, immersive travel experiences of our favourite island.

 

Our team of expert guides and local partners share our commitment to excellence and our tours are designed to showcase the very best of Sicily's history, art, and cuisine. We also offer custom travel services, such as private group tours § concierge services.
